To Our Guests

Welcome to this house of worship. We hope our  greetings will convey the pleasure we feel in having you visit us. Although you are a visitor, don't feel as a stranger, for you are amoung God's people. May every aspect of the service bless and encourage you.

If you wish, bow you head in a silent prayer for those who minister and for your fellow worshipers. Ask God to prepare your own heart to receive a touch from Him.

Join in the congregational singing. We hope that the selections will be familiar. We highly regard the old, standard devotional hymns, but we also enjoy the more modern, spirited gospel songs of praise and testimony. We believe that joy and praise are always appropriate in the house of the Lord.

Unite your prayer with our. Our public prayers are informal and extemporanteous and usuall expressed with umnistakable earnestness. Sometimes we kneel or we may stand. Whatever the posture, we approach our Heavenly Father with reverence and expectancy and address our prayers in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

When the offering plate is passed, do not be embarrassed if you are not prepared to participate or if you have obligations elsewhere.

When the minister stands before you to deliver today's message, you may be sure that he or she has prayed earnestly before coming to the pulpit. Our pastor is committed to ask God's guidance in each aspect of the service.

The Crossroads Church of the Nazarene is evangelical in doctrine and evangelistic in practice. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the Foundation of Christian faith, and the Guide to devout, God fearing living. We believe in revials, in preaching, repentance and urging men and women to forsake sin and seek God for forgiveness and cleansing.
